The Alpine Shawl by Jill Taminnen from Knit Sisu is Malabrigo’s second collaboration with Blue Sky Fibers, and the very first combined knit-along! 

The pattern combines Malabrigo Arroyo and Blue Sky Fibers Prairie along with a mixture of stitches that bring the garment’s texture to a whole new level. It’s a captivating and meditative piece that promises to be one of those patterns you will want to knit more than once.

Yarn Needed: 

This beautiful pattern combines two colors of Malabrigo Arroyo with one color of Blue Sky Fibers Prairie, for a total of 3 skeins. This pairing is absolutely perfect for any knitter looking for something light, breathable, and utterly cozy. Whether you're new to knitting or a seasoned pro, this design is sure to capture your heart.

Just like with her previous Malabrigo knit-along, Jill will host weekly Zoom meetings to help you along the pattern, teaching the techniques and answering all your questions! It’s a lovely community-building instance that we really enjoy. If you can’t join, the meetings are recorded for you to watch later!
