Wheat Stitch Mittens

Instructor: Nancy DeVries

Cost: $35 class fee + materials

Date: Saturday, January 10, 1:00-4:00pm

Level: Intermediate. You MUST be a proficient crocheter. This class will move fast! 

Skills: You will learn the wheat stitch, how to do decreases, foundation chain increase, and a crocheted seam.

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Please purchase class supplies at Rose Yarn Co.

• 2 skeins Worsted weight yarn for Adult sizes
  Suggested yarns: Malabrigo Rios, Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage
• Size 4.0-4.5mm crochet hook
• Pattern: Winter Wheat Stitch Flat Mittens by Briana K Designs. This pattern is not available in shop - please purchase prior to class and bring a printed copy. 

Instructor Bio: From Nancy - "My grandma was a master embroiderer and crocheter of lace edgings. She taught me at the age of 9 how to crochet. Since learning I have never not crocheted. I love trying new and intricate patterns or making things up on my own. I have done many baby blankets, sweaters, granny squares, dishcloths, scarves....  I have been crocheting 50+ years and have taught many others how to crochet."
