Weaving - Overshot Floral Tapestry

Instructor: Ellen Armendáriz Stumbo 

Cost: $60 - all materials included

Dates: Saturday, March 22, 12:30-4:30 pm

Level: Intermediate level. Prior to this class, you need to have completed our beginner’s “Learn to Weave” class OR have prior weaving experience. This class is for participants 18+.

Skills: You will learn the overshot technique and how to create and follow a pattern

Project: You will be creating an approx. 6" floral tapestry

Materials: Included in class fee

Instructor Bio: Ellen Armendáriz Stumbo is a fiber artist from Mexico, living in Minnesota. Tapestry weaving was an art form passed down from her mother. She has done commission pieces, and really enjoys bringing her culture into her art.
