Two-At-A-Time Socks
This class is intended for students who have have experience and are comfortable making socks, but would like to try TAAT!
Instructor: Mary Hanson
Cost: $45 class fee + materials
Dates: Saturdays 1:00-3:00pm, May 17th and May 24th (2 sessions)
Level: Intermediate. This is not a beginner sock class. Prior to this class, you should be proficient with knitting in the round on magic loop, and know how to read a pattern, cast on, knit and purl, kitchener stitch, and be confident knitting a heel flap, turn and gusset.
Skills: You will learn how to knit two socks at the same time, top down on a single long circular needle. We will focus on the cast on/set up for this method in Session 1, and the heel in Session 2. You will finish the foot/toe of this sock outside of class. This class is for participants 18+.

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Please purchase project yarn for class from Rose Yarn Co.
- One skein fingering weight sock yarn - *Please note: Yarn needs to be split into two equal balls prior to class
- Size 1 (2.5mm) 40" circular needle
- Opening stitch markers
Instructor Bio: Mary has been knitting for 35+ years. She has knit intarsia, stranded colorwork, and her favorite – lots and lots of socks! Mary loves all things creative, including spinning, weaving, jewelry making and dabbling in a variety of art media.
