Improve your new crochet skills with this beginner friendly project!

Instructor: Nancy DeVries

Cost: $30 class fee + materials

Dates: Saturday, October 10th, 1:00-3:30 pm

Level: Adventurous beginner: This class is intended for participants who have completed our Learn to Crochet class, or already know the foundational crochet stitches. This class is for participants ages 16+.

Skills: This is not a learn to crochet class. Prior to this class, you need to know how to chain, slip and double crochet. You will learn how to read a pattern, do a turning chain and double crochet two together. 

Pattern: Desert Winds Scarf ($2.50 or free with ads)
Please bring a printed copy of the pattern with you to class!

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Please purchase class supplies at Rose Yarn Co.

• 2 balls Berroco Gianna OR 1 ball Sirdar Jewelspun Aran OR 2 skeins Cascade 220 Superwash Wave
• Size H (5mm) crochet hook or appropriate size for chosen yarn
• Opening stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Instructor Bio: From Nancy - "My grandma was a master embroiderer and crocheter of lace edgings. She taught me at the age of 9 how to crochet. Since learning I have never not crocheted. I love trying new and intricate patterns or making things up on my own. I have done many baby blankets, sweaters, granny squares, dishcloths, scarves....  I have been crocheting 50+ years and have taught many others how to crochet."
