Mix & Match Crochet Blanket

This class is a fantastic way to significantly improve your crochet skills!

Instructor: Nancy DeVries

Cost: $95 class fee (10 hours of classroom instruction) plus Materials

Dates: One class per month for 5 months. We will meet the second Thursday of every month from 6:00-8:00 pm from August-December 2025 (see list of dates below)

Level: Advanced Beginner. This is NOT a "learn to crochet" class. Prior to this class, you need to be able to chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet

Skills: You will learn a variety of stitch patterns, including ridge ripples, alpine stitch, wavy days, chunky cable, perky puffs, blocky spots, Jacob's ladder, corrugated ribs, giant basketweave, chicanes, as well as how to do the border and tassels.

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Please note: Yarn and book must be purchased from Rose Yarn Co. for this course.

• Yarn: Worsted or Aran weight yarn - suggested yarn include Cascade 220 Superwash Merino, Malabrigo Rios, Berroco Vintage, Blue Sky Fibers Sweater, Berroco Pima 100
• Crochet hook: Appropriate size for yarn chosen 
• Opening stitch markers
• Row counter
• Notebook and pen
• Great attitude and positive mindset!

Please note: Class fee and materials are non-refundable. There are no refunds for missed classes, but we will attempt to help you with missed content in shop when time allows. 

Instructor Bio: From Nancy - "My grandma was a master embroiderer and crocheter of lace edgings. She taught me at the age of 9 how to crochet. Since learning I have never not crocheted. I love trying new and intricate patterns or making things up on my own. I have done many baby blankets, sweaters, granny squares, dishcloths, scarves....  I have been crocheting 50+ years and have taught many others how to crochet."
