In 2011, she and her husband, Rob, took over Cascade Yarns, continuing its legacy while helping guide its creative direction.
Today, Shannon is involved in all aspects of the brand, including yarn and color development, knit and crochet design, visiting mills, ordering yarn, and teaching workshops in yarn shops around the country. She especially enjoys connecting with makers, sharing knowledge, and inspiring creativity through thoughtful design and beautiful materials. When she’s not immersed in yarn, Shannon is a busy mom to two boys.
