Elsa Socks
This class is intended for students who are experienced sock knitters and would like to try adding colorwork!
Instructor: Mary Hanson
Cost: $25 class fee + materials
Date: Thursday, November 12, 6:00-8:00pm
Level: Intermediate. Prior to this class, you need to have experience making socks, including short rows and doing a heel flap, turn and gusset - as well as some basic colorwork skills. This is not a beginner colorwork class.
***This class will require some pre-work. You will cast on and complete the ribbing section prior to class. We will jump right into the stranded colorwork section at the beginning of class.
Skills: In this single session class, we will focus on incorporating stranded colorwork in the leg of our sock. We will only be working on the first portion of the colorwork in class, the remainder of the sock will be completed on your own. We will discuss how to catch floats and manage tension with two colors. This class is for participants 16+.
