Crocheted Flowers Bag

This adorable flower bag is a fun project and versatile pattern! You can opt for neutral colors, or go with bright and colorful - use just two colors, or as many colors as you'd like! Sizing can also be adjusted by adding additional flower squares, and there are several options for yarn choice.

Cost: $55 class fee + materials

Dates: Thursdays 6:00-8:00 pm
April 18, May 2, May 9 (3 sessions)
Two weeks are allowed between Session 1 and Session 2 to allow enough time to complete all of your granny squares

Level: Prior to this class, you need to be confident with slip stitches, single crochet and double crochet. This will be a fast paced class with a fair amount of outside work to be completed between classes. This class is for participants ages 16+.

Skills: You will learn how to do magic ring, work in stagings, piece together your project, and attach handles/straps.

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Class supplies to be purchased at Rose Yarn Co.

• Yarn Ideas: Shop sample was done with 2 skeins of Rowan Summerlite DK for main color and 9 colors of Sirdar Happy Cotton mini skeins for the flowers (3 flowers of each color).
• Alternatives: Rowan Handknit Cotton, Rowan Creative Linen, or Cascade Noble Cotton for both main color and as many accent colors as you would like for the flowers
• Size F or G crochet hook for DK weight, or appropriate size hook for yarn chosen
• Opening stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Instructor Bio: From Nancy - "My grandma was a master embroiderer and crocheter of lace edgings. She taught me at the age of 9 how to crochet. Since learning I have never not crocheted. I love trying new and intricate patterns or making things up on my own. I have done many baby blankets, sweaters, granny squares, dishcloths, scarves....  I have been crocheting 50+ years and have taught many others how to crochet."
