Thrummed Mittens
Instructor: Mary Hanson
Cost: $25 class fee + materials
Dates: Tuesday, November 26th, 1:00-3:00pm
Level: Intermediate. This is not a beginner mittens class. Prior to this class, you should know how to read a pattern, cast on, knit ribbing, knit in the round, pick up and add increases for thumbs, and decrease. This class will only be covering the "thrums" skill - you will not complete the mitten during class. This class is for participants 18+.
Skills: You will learn how to prepare and add thrums to a pair of simple, worsted weight mittens.
Pattern: Easy Mittens with Thrums (free pattern on Ravelry)
***Please note: There will be a small amount of pre-work required prior to class, so you will want to purchase your yarn early enough to allow for this. You will cast on, complete the "Cuff" and "Base of Hand" sections, then stop when you reach the "Begin Thrum Pattern" section - we will start here in class.
Materials: 10% off with class purchase

Feedback from past participants:
“I liked the class and the teacher very much! I’ve been working on the mittens and they are actually very relaxing to work on. Mary’s directions on the thrumming technique were excellent and easy to follow” - Nancy
