Learn to Spin!

Instructor: Mary Hanson 

Cost: $40 class fee + materials

Dates: Saturdays 10:30am - 12:30pm, September 16 and 23 (2 sessions)

Level: No experience required!

Project: Create your own yarn by spinning fiber on a Turkish spindle

Skills: You will learn to prepare your fiber for spinning, draft fiber and spin singles, and ply your singles to make 2 ply yarn.

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Supplies to be purchased at Rose Yarn Co.

Instructor Bio: Mary has been knitting for 35+ years. She has knit intarsia, stranded colorwork, and her favorite – lots and lots of socks! Mary loves all things creative, including spinning, weaving, jewelry making and dabbling in a variety of art media.
