Learn to Knit!

Instructor: Nancy DeVries

Cost: $30 class fee + materials

Dates: Saturday, January 18, 10:00am-12:30pm

Level: No experience required!

Skills: You will learn how to read a basic pattern, cast on, knit, purl, bind off and weave in ends.

Materials: 10% off with class purchase. Please purchase class supplies at Rose Yarn Co.

• 1 ball Rowan Handknit Cotton a light-medium color
• Size US 8 (5 mm) 24” circular needle

Instructor Bio: From Nancy - "My grandma was a master embroiderer and crocheter of lace edgings. She taught me how to crochet at the age of 9. I began knitting after the birth of my first child. I love trying new and intricate patterns or making things up on my own. I have done many baby blankets, sweaters, granny squares, dishcloths, scarves, etc. I either knit or crochet daily, if not both! I have taught many friends and kids how to knit. I am currently working on designing mitten patterns."
