Fix It! Class

Learn the basics of how to fix all the “oops!” in your projects.

Instructor: Jennifer Murphree

Cost: $30 class fee + materials

Date: Thursday, January 9, 6:00-8:00pm

*Note: This class will require some pre-work to prepare simple swatches.

Level: “Comfortable” Beginner. Prior to this class, you should know how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off and have completed a couple of projects. This class is for participants 16+.

Skills: You will learn how to “read” your knitting to identify mistakes, and how to fix common problems such as changing a knit to a purl and vice versa, dropped stitches, slipped stitches, twisted stitches, extra stitches, needles getting pulled out of your work by furry critters and more!

Materials: 10% off with class purchase

• 1 skein Cascade 220 Merino or Berroco Vintage or comparable worsted weight yarn in white or a light color
• Size US 8 (5 mm) 24" circular needle + extra smaller sized needle
• Small crochet hook or Stitch Fixer tool
• Locking stitch markers
• Scrap yarn
• Notebook and pen
