Fix It! Class

So, you think you can knit. Until you goof...then what?! Come learn the basics of how to fix all the “oops!” in your projects.

Cost: $30 class fee + materials

Date: Saturday, March 25th, 9:00-11:00 am

*Note: This class will require a couple hours of pre-work to prepare simple swatches.

Level: “Comfortable” Beginner. Prior to this class, you should know how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off and have completed a couple of projects. This class is for participants 18 years or older.

Skills: You will learn how to “read” your knitting to identify mistakes, and how to fix common problems such as dropped stitches, extra stitches, needles getting pulled out of your work by furry critters and more!

Materials: 10% off with class purchase

• 1 skein Woolstok Tweed, Berroco Vintage or Rowan Pure Wool in white or a light color
• Size US 8 (5 mm) 24" circular needle
• Small crochet hook or Stitch Fixer tool
• Cable needle or one double pointed needle in size 7 or smaller
• Stitch markers
• Locking stitch markers
• Scrap yarn
• Notebook and pen

Instructor Bio: Jenni Krosnowski has been knitting for 28 years. She is the former owner of Twisted Loop Yarn Shop in Prior Lake, a published designer, and has extensive teaching experience. Her favorite things to knit are socks, mittens and sweaters, and she LOVES colorwork and a good lace pattern.
